The City Administrator  is the chief administrative officer of the City Government and is responsible to the Mayor and City Council for the proper administration and management of the City. The City Administrator is also responsible for long-term strategic planning for the future growth and development of the City. Farmington City Administrator Gregory S. Beavers has 18 years of experience in local government administration including 15 years as a City Administrator. He has been employed with the City of Farmington as City Administrator since 2001. Mr. Beavers is an International City Manager’s Association (ICMA) Credentialed Manager and earned a Master of Public Policy Administration from the University of Missouri – St. Louis in 2004. He received his Bachelor of Science from Missouri State University in Industrial Technology/Management in 1989. Mr. Beavers is also 20 year veteran of the United States Army Reserves having received numerous awards and decorations including the Meritorious Service Medal for his service during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
