Missouri law requires sex offenders (convicted since July 1, 1995) to register their residency with the St. Francois County Sheriff's Department. Missouri law prohibits sex offenders from residing within 1000 feet of a school and/or a daycare. Furthermore, Missouri law prohibits sex offenders from being present within 500 feet of a school unless a certain protocol is adhered to.
