Downtown Farmington is nestled around East Liberty Street and West Columbia Street is the hub of the city. The downtown area is home to City Hall, the Court House, library, police, fire departments and many other buildings important to the city.

Many original brick buildings are still stand in operation today as homes and businesses. Walk the main streets to window shop the many boutiques and shops. Get your hair and nails done. And have lunch and anyone of the local restaurants that line the streets.  

The old jail-house is still standing though vacant today and is currently being converted into a hostel for bicycle riders coming through the city. 

Come and visit the war memorials at the old courthouse, get your taxes done, grab a bite to eat, or have your dog groomed.
