Farmington City Council approved an updated Comprehensive Plan in July of 2026. A Comprehensive Plan is a big picture policy document that will guide Farmington’s physical, social, and economic growth and development over the next 10 to 20 years. It is essentially a roadmap for a community’s future. Farmington’s 2026 Comprehensive Plan reflects the community’s long-term vision and provides goals, objectives, and key results that position the plan for implementation.
