Schober held on a $250,000 bond for the charges of Assault 2nd Degree and Armed Criminal Action

Farmington Police Respond to Incident Involving Knife


 

Farmington, Missouri (August 14, 2026)


On Thursday, August 13, 2026, at about 3:32 pm, officers responded to a disturbance involving a knife at the Farm Villa Apartments, located at 739 Hillsboro Rd, which is within the Farmington City Limits.


Upon arrival on the scene, officers located a 37-year-old male who had been injured with a knife. The Farmington Fire Department and the St. Francois County Ambulance were called to the scene and transported the male for medical attention.


Upon investigation at the scene, a 63-year-old male, identified as Kevin C. Schober, was taken into custody and transported to the Farmington Police Department for questioning. Schober was later transported to the St. Francois County Jail and is currently being held on a $250,000 bond for the charges of Assault 2nd Degree and Armed Criminal Action. 


This is an active investigation.
