Farmington Police Officers Engaged in a Pursuit on March 26, 2026


Farmington, Missouri (March 27, 2026) - On Thursday, March 26, 2026, at about 1743 hrs. Farmington Officers attempted to stop a white Ford dually reported as stolen out of Bonne Terre. Officers attempted to stop the vehicle on Woodlawn at Bray Road. Officers engaged in a pursuit after the stolen vehicle failed to yield. St. Francois County Deputies assisted in the pursuit that lasted 14 miles before the pursued vehicle came to a rolling stop on Pimville Rd. due to a mechanical malfunction. Officers were unable to see in the vehicle due to the dark tint on the windows and locked doors. The driver was taken into custody after a brief standoff, during which the driver failed to comply with repeated verbal commands from officers on scene. A 55-year-old white male of St. Louis was taken into custody and transported to the St. Francois County jail for vehicle theft, numerous traffic charges, and resisting arrest.
